I'm Sara Mena and I'm an illustrator and artist.

I studied Graphic Design (BA) and after that I specialized in illustration.
I started working on an advertising agency doing some mascot Illustrations (among other graphic design work) and also did Children Illustrations as freelancer.

I mainly worked digital but then I had the chance to work with traditional media
and I saw a lot of possibilities and started mixing traditional with digital.  I became a fan of experimental drawing and I try new techniques and medias (for example I tried to use a corn cob to draw, the results where amazing!) which help me improve my work and making it stand out.

Recently I was invited to make art for a game and I really liked the experience and wanted to do more. I joined
one game a month challenge, where I have to make a game each month. I'm loving the experience!

My work has also been featured in some art exhibitions these years.

Right now, I'm working as a freelancer making commissioned illustrations and art for games.
I also use my spare time to make free stuff for you like icons :D
